He got good in the Chardon wrestling room training with the Lawson brothers. The name of the eldest brother escapes me, but he trained a lot with Lee Kemp. Paul Lawson (Slippery Rock 158 lbs.) credits Lee with developing his style. Lots of offense from the underhook. Lee Kemp, great athlete, great coach, great motivator, great american. Representative of possibly the greatest US weight class. 163 lbs. Stan Diezik, Lee Kemp, Dave Schultz, Kenny Monday, and Jordan Burroughs
