Ray, this is the most complete review I’ve seen. I appreciate your objective , balanced review . It’s the first time I’ve ever heard anyone mention the thing about 22x +. I’ve noticed it in my Cronus… I thought there was something wrong with it. It’s very nice to know what real expectations might be in this price point . Please do more scope reviews , Ray!

Bought the 4-20x50 w/PRS reticle 2-3 yrs ago, no beefs with it. Tract was excellent to deal with, sent e-mail on a Sunday, evening, had an answer 2 hrs later. I had to import to Cda, they provided paperwork, instructions, made it easy, can't ask foe any better cust service.. Bought sight unseen, no regrets at all.

Thanks. You're confirming my personal practice of leaving half an MOA of... Lower adjustment... In my 100 yd zero. I'm going to start implementing shooting groups through the available grid... For the feel of how much lower can hold over points make, accessible shots. I love the quality content you provide us amateurs

Great review as always Ray. I bought a Tract Toric a couple of years ago and has given me zero problems. Definitely a great scope for under 2k.

Great review, thanks for the well thought out and reasoned evaluation. Another scope in this price point I'd like to see reviewed is the Horus. It's been recommended to me by a few folks but I've never used it handled one.

Great review Ray, I appreciate your honest opinion on your reviews. And I would agree with you about the elevation turret being a little too easy to push down and also about the clarity getting a little milky after 22x. After looking at both Tract TORIC UHD options at the Eastern Outdoor Show, I think I prefer the 4-25X50 version. And I think you would too. It’s only 2.5oz lighter which isn’t great but it has 47 MRAD of elevation travel, parallax setting starts at 15 yards and it’s about an inch shorter.

Great review, great scope. Great quality. I have both 4.5-30x56 and newer 4-25x50. I like 4-25 more, it has better balance because on 4.5-30 rear end of scope much longer and personally for me it’s not comfortable and I had to move scope farther. Also on 4.5-30 we checked trucking and it was 0.1 mills on 10 mills adjustment. Not a big deal but 4-25 was perfect. But still both great scopes and I was able to shoot Kidd 10/22 at 600+ yards

My Trijicon tenmile 4.5-30x56 does not have image degradation at any power. The Trijicon is an amazing optic .This Tract is in the Trijicon class of optics . I made the right choice with the Tenmile.

I've been seriously considering the Toric 4-25 for my prs rimfire build. The amount of elevation adjustment is insane. I wish this scope had the same.

I had one it's big and heavy 2-1/2 lbs. It does have good glass, but as he said at 30X it's a little milky. I mainly used it at 15x. It's nice, but too big and heavy for me. I like the 30mm scopes better.

Great review! - Price is mentioned, but not the fact that this is Factory Direct - No wholesale or Retailer markups!!... you know, turning $300 optic's into $700 choices. -- The Tract UHD is truly a 3K optic for half the price. Great company that on occasion, the President actually answers the phone calls. - Mercedes Benz feel to the mechanicals.

I think you hit on every value vs quality proposition I considered before buying this scope. It functions perfect for NRL22 but I was curious to see how it would handle something with more kick to it. I may mount it on a 338 Lapua and see how it holds up to that.

Would you choose 22 creedmore over 22arc for a PRS build. I’m not a creedmore fan but now Sammi made both 22s certified for hornady I really want something lite and fast compared to 300win mag and 300 prc

Ray my 3x15 viper mounted on dd5v3 upper got blew through my banisters while it was draining and fell 4’ to the yard..busted ocular cap and barley lost zero. Sold me then and there..got it on fn special police.308 shootin .3”s-.5”s easy

This scope have a lot to offer but.... Why is the elevation turret that high? I dont get it!

I looked at this scope bc this was my price range....it was between Athlon Cronus, Maven RS4, Tract, and the Delta... Came down to Tract vs Cronus. Tract had slightly more vivid glass and that cool grey color but I HATED those tall locking turrets. (I have no idea whose turrets are moving on them and they require locking turrets in 2024) but when they unlocked they were REALLY tall. Otherwise the reticles are near identical , infact it looks like Tract may have borrowed and ever-so-slightlyyyy changed Athlons reticles. The Cronus has better turrets (in my opinion) slightly inferior glass and a MUCH tighter eye box...but I couldnt get over those silly tall Tract turrets so I run a Cronus. The Tract is incredibleeeeeeeee though!!! If you like the turrets its the best scope under $2K that I have looked thru

“DiReCt tO cOnSumEr” marketing company 😂😂 So tired of all these companies claiming they make optics. These scopes are made by LOW in Japan (along with many other brands you all know). Not saying they aren’t good optics, just sick of the marketing garbage of saving money by going direct to consumer. They make substantially higher profits because they do not sell to distributors at a wholesale price.

......asian is asian, that said, I have yet to find anything worth spending a couple hundred to, especially 3X the money,....a guy just doesn't get but $10-$20 worth of improvements for your money,....I have some Arken scopes that I compared to everything else asian & everything else is just over-priced-still-asian, so for budget Arken just can't be beat by anything else asian no matter the price from what I found, .... & if a guy wants an investment - I just buy Zeiss(German), S&B, Kahles, (Euro-Mfg'd.).....everything else that is just close to their price is junk in comparison, just not worth going the, literally, few dollars extra on the Euro-Optics.
