Love the videos and your editing is bang on. I’m shocked that you can’t feed pigs waste food. That’s mental, it was done for hundreds of years.

Feeding food waste was banned in 1996 following the BSE crisis. However, in 2001 the foot & mouth out break started from feeding pigs infected swill which cost the UK an estimated £8bn. I was involved with the slaughter of thousands of animals in Cumbria and it was devastating to watch farmers crying when the desease came to there farms. It was the worst days of my career having to be a part of this because some clown fed his pigs food waste which had been prohibited since 1996.

Strip grazing and back fencing maximises grass recovery and growth here. Move once a day pivoting around water troughs with electric fencing.

In reality wats the difference between buying a fendt 7 series and a 9 series? Is it 100% cost or are there other factors, like will your machinery not fit?

@@CrawfordsFarm1 I’m from Canada. I remember helping out on a pig farm in my youth. We had a cookie factory in my hometown, and absolutely loved delivery days, when the barrels of Oreo seconds were dropped off at the farm. We were set for cookies for school for months.
