I replaced the starter on my Fordson Dexta. I had to rewire it because this new starter has a solenoid mounted on the starter, rather than a remote mounted solenoid.

just got a new starter for my 3000 and the solenoid had more connections than the old one, like the one you installed. thanks for explaining the hook up!

love my old Dexta , bought it 6 years ago for 800 but last year I retired her because spitting oil out the exhaust , put a new head on it but it's in the bottom end

On the original starter the relay on top has 2 wires which side of that relay goes to the solinoid
