Me too also a black woman, I always liked this show so when this episode was on that day I was watching but doing something else, when that song played it was my first time hearing it, I focused directly at the TV and thought who is that singing that song, oh my, I hunted it down online till I found it, so beautiful!!!!!!

Believe it or not but my very first love, Keith, contacted me on New Year's Eve 2021 going into 2022. Our mutual friends when we were teenages tracked me down and we reconnected. We were together almost 3 years. It's been 40 years since I've seen or heard from him. We drifted apart for reasons I won't post but my feelings for him never faded even though I went on with my life. Now I am in awe that he feels the same as he did back then and we realized we've spent a lifetime apart and never should have. He sent me this song and it says so much, so much to look forward to now. I'm going to see him in 2 1/2 weeks and I'm over the moon! Thanking God and our Earthly Angels, Sherry and Randy. Paula C.

Why is this dance not shown on Grit. If I didn't see it here, I wouldn't have known it existed. That was one of the most unromantic wedding's I've watched. From the toast to the cake eating. This dance would have made the episode more romantic and better. Does anyone remember the episode where Alex and Walker have the sonogram and the episode where she wakes him up to feel the baby move??

Sadly the DVD doesn't even have the original version - it's a stupid fast paced song. It makes me so sad they couldn't obtain the rights to keep it in the episode. Also, the baby sonogram episode is Desperate Measures and the kicking scene is Justice For All :) I have a compiled list of Walker & Alex episodes/moments LOL

I think it was implied they were in love, they just didn't act on it, viewer was left to hope they ended up together.

@@cindymorris5960 They didn't. They came out with a movie a few years after the show ended and Sidney was gone. Gage had a new partner and Alex was shot. It sucked.

In the last episode, when Alex came home from the hospital with the baby, Sydney and gage drove up together. She had her potato salad and Walker said it loud delicious. Gage said " trust me. It is". He looked like he patted her behind and said something like "my domesticated " something. Just that small scene made me believe they got together. A lot of people speculated Alex died. However, after the baby was born Walker had a vision of her growing up to be at least 16 and Alex was in the vision. Walkers visions always came true, so I strongly doubt they killed Alex off
