Great hunt!

congrats hes a nice one!! i have been a compound hunter since 1991 and i have taken 25 deer all sizes!! i keep watching recurve and longbow videos and im thinking pretty seriously about giving traditional archery a try. Maybe not for deer hunting but for target shooting and grouse hunting this fall would be a blast!! i shoot a 55lb compound bow so i was thinking i might start at 35lbs!!

Those whitetails are string jumpin sons a guns. Your shot was perfect but he still tried to duck it! Every video I watch on KZfaq, they always try to duck the arrow!

Deer didn’t drop but a couple of inches. Shot hit high. But it all worked out. Trad hunting is harder IMO . Been there done that. 👍👍
