Backtesting Order Blocks using a Price Action Trading Strategy that we use in FTR following zone to zone trading.

Great video, as always. When backtesting, you're effectively "on the charts" 24 hours a day. Would be interested in a time management video where you walk through setting alarms to review the charts when a choch or BOS happens, or when you put on limit orders, etc., and what times of day you're actually in front of your computer, etc. I already work a 9-5. If I ever get funded, I don't want to trade a 9-5 for a 24/5 if you know what I mean, mate. Love your content

Great vid Paul and thanks for sharing! Good to hear that you intend to record these more regularly again. I will be continuing to watching with great interest. In one of your next videos could you please explain a little mor in detail - like you did for the rules of your trades, how you mark the order blocks? Wick tip to wick tip from the candle that formed the last swing high/low? Cheers from Downunder!

Hello again. At 13:00, why not take the big black candle as an OB? it's rebalanced but grabbed liq, led to BoS..

Hello Paul! Thank you for another great video. Today's backtesting video was way better for understanding than previous ones (but previous were great too). If it's not much to ask, it would be great if you could choose one and only type of order block you think is best for beginners (I remember you told it was 3-4 of them in another video) and explain it with clear rules. Thank you! Also, what do you think about the way price respects different session's levels? For example, last week I tried to build a pro-trend M15+H1 trading strategy based on bounce from Asian price levels during London open, and these levels get destroyed around 60-70% of time.

Hi Paul, What is the difference between order block and supply and demand strategy? In most simple terms. I am a bit puzzled as when you were marking supply/demand zones it looked like you were marking order blocks.

Supply and Demand = unrefined areas. OB's are refined based on precision

Rarely! I will if it means blowing my prop accounts if I don't, but personal accounts I never move my sl or take partials

Ok after watching I do have some questions, what is it that makes the 15m OB at 15:40 weak? What is the difference between swept and mitigated? If I'm understanding right, you're saying it's weak because it did not go up to test the previous 15m OB? Hopefully I'm making sense typing this out.

Very good question mate. It didn't sweep anything or mitigate anything on the topside meaning that even though there was imbalance left behind it was likely supply-driven rather than a set of blocked orders

Question; What's rebalance?

When the imbalance gets filled. It's basically (in a down move of 3 candles, or up), but candle 1 has a little wick. Candle 2 breaks far away, candle 3 has the wick come back to connect with the wick of candle 1
