The best thing about being an adult and getting a new higher paying job is finally being able to buy all the food you want to try. Harder to get into seasonal autumn feeling here in CA but the food definitely helps!

Your reaction to the kim cbi soup was HILARIOUS! I was hesitant to get it even though a lot of people said they liked it. But after seeing what it looks like in real life and your taste test, WHEW...I think I dodged a bullet! Thanks for the intro to Universal Yums! It's such a fantastic idea! They're reasonably priced (bonus!) with an awesome variety of products; I signed up right away!

Best way to have butternut squash or any squash it to split them in half scoop out the seeds wrap in foil place cut side down on a baking sheet poke a few holes to let out the steam and bake till done. Then scoop out the squash in a bowl with some butter and brown sugar to your taste. So much pumpkin stuff now and seems more every year. Just a plain squash soup can be very good. Philippine empanadas are really awesome.

I bought the pumpkin spice oat beverage a couple weeks ago. I used it instead of creamer in my coffee. Its quite sweet!! At least for me, a little bit went a long way!! But tasty!

The apple tart is the bomb. It's around all year and I bring it to friends for tea. I'm def gonna try the spaghetti squash. I like Spaghetti squash already an that looks like a nice quick lunch.

How to open a jar that won't open. Turn it upside-down, smack it evenly and firmly using it's own weight flat on a hard, level surface (not so hard it will break). One firm smack and the jar lid will open. I do it ALL THE TIME!

Great video, TJ! You are adorable! About the babka....1st, you never cut a babka. You tear it. This way you appreciate the layers. And 2nd, I used the TJ's babka to make french toast and it was amazing! You can also make a great french toast casserole with it!

To open a jar: tap on and around the side edges of the lid with like a knife handle (or small hammer), then a couple of times on the top of the lid... then try, and it should open easily. Just remember when turning the lid to open..."righty tighty... lefty loosey"... ;>)

Empanadas are sweet or savory in Mexico. I'm not a fan of the pumpkin ones but there is a pineapple one that my local Mexican bakery makes that is so delicious.

I ended up giving that pho 🍜 to someone else 🤷🏻 she's never told me what she thought. I normally only go to Trader Joe's for the fresh flowers. I didn't see any seasonal items the last time I went. Next time I go I will see if they have any of those items you listed. :) especially those soups that were hard to open. The 🍅 one looked yummy.
