In this video I wanted to share my investment portfolio that I hold with Trading212. Trading212 is an investment app for UK investors who are looking to purchase stocks and ETF’s from all around the world.

As i’m very early on in my investment journey, I thought it would be great to document it here on KZfaq, to share my portfolio with full transparency, including what i’m invested in and how the portfolio is performing as I increase the value of it over time. Lets see how my portfolio does overtime!

Definitly agree with what you said at the end there. I never thought i would find it fun to sit down and listen to an earnings call or read the balance sheet of a company.

Palantir is a very long term hold for me, I was tempted to sell a portion when it dropped from $20 to $14 but I have the worst timing when it comes to selling! Very confident it will perform well over the next 5-10 years, especially now they continue to be profitable and are eligible to be included in the S&P 500.

Great video! One thing I've never been able to figure out is how tax is paid on a regular investment account (not S&S ISA). Do you pay it on profits at the end of the tax year or only in the year you take money cash out of the account? Thanks

Only when you sell your stocks for profit you’ve got to declare that in the tax year from what I know if it’s in the invest account

@@bensbigjourney Thanks. So if you are attempting to 'trade' by buying and selling stocks continuously in a trading212 Invest account, you have to pay tax on every stock you sell? (if you made a profit)

Hey dude, in new starting out trading on trading 212 I have 200 pounds invested into a couple of diff stocks and am doing well on them. I’m very interested in the short term trades off of the “top winners” list have you got any advice on how to know what to put the money in because it seems the price is sky high already by the time it made the list and not worth the investment as it will most likely only go down from there. Do I invest in the top losers list for a short term profit?? Any advice would be amazing!👍

Hey I can’t say what to do as I’m not a financial advisor short term trading is very hard! But if you’re happy to wait a year or two I think PayPay is a good stock to dollar cost average into in my opinion though

Hope you didn't cash out PLTR, as it has gone up even more today. I would just hold your position if you remain convicted. I wouldn't try and time the market. Great video :)

This portfolio gives me anxiety personally. Very volatile and high risk for my taste. But hey if you can stomach the downswings then kudos. Personally i have most of my portfolio in the boring indexes for the long term. Then have some play money on the side to pick individual stocks

That’s fair enough I guess I’m just very confident with what I’ve got and feel I don’t have much risk but that’s only because I’m not selling most stocks until 2030. If I needed the money in the next year or two then I would have anxiety

@@bensbigjourney might I ask why 2030 is when you plan to sell? im 22 and plan on buying and compounding till im in my 50s. 7 years seems like a very short time horizon.
