This is an awesome idea.

Right up their alley

Use Guts scoring, 300 for 1st, 200 for 2nd, 100 for 3rd, and during the season finale / tournament of champions episode use crag scoring of 725, 550, and 375. Also leader going into the season finale gets 1st pick, 2nd gets 2nd etc. Get your art team to make the scores look like they do in the show.

I like this idea, with a couple twists. They should get one color for the season, then the contestants are random and more apt to trade mid round. And then as part of the trade they could add points kickers. Like a player plus a couple hundred points or something

I was thinking that as well. They were losing out at like 5-10 seconds per buoy anyway. 4 total seconds would save them a ton of time. Unless there's some sort of penalty about missing 2.

​@Fly-The-W yea I thought about that. If they tried to game the system it wouldn't work out well for them. Most of the times they made up the rules on the fly anyway. At least in the early episodes i have seen they wing it.

Yeah just go straight screw it, get there in 10 seconds and then add 4 seconds. No one is beating that time

@@macswallace2109 Except that nobody is allowed to watch the previous competitors, and I don't think get to practice that event either. So, no contestant would know the penalty time ahead of time or be able to copy such a strategy.

Right. Last episode, they explained why Zack wasn't picking first - because Jake was picking first. They said NEXT time (i.e. - THIS time), Zach would pick first. Continuity error!!!!!

Trade of the century has had me on high alert

I feel like I’m 12 years old running home to watch this. I need this every day!

Good catch with the rock knocking his actuator, but points wise it didn’t matter, Mike had it locked, even if he came in last. To the point even Jimmy cited, it did appear Ancel made two footballs. Looking at the video, it appears the first one went in middle bottom, and it sort of popped back out, but stayed in. The second appeared to go in the same one. So, two things, maybe they only count unique goals, which seems very nitpicking considering how tough this is for the kids. Second, maybe the first one seeming to almost bounce out was stuck in the middle and not in the back of the net so the judges couldn’t see it and therefore didn’t count it. But yes, with a tied first place in football Ancel would have enough points to then if the rock didn’t turn off his actuator and he finished first would have beaten Mike. Oh well.

No, but it was linked that one guy made a web comic about being on Guts and the girl who won in a clean sweep a couple of weeks ago unfortunately got paralyzed a few years later and eventually did a reddit AMA about her experiences

They've done a few, and I'd def welcome it back.
