@@alexanderargint1396 Oh, I get it. You can have the best 'gut' instinct or discretionary systems, or even mechanical 'in the game' and still loose money on a day to day basis. A lot of traders have good systems, what they lack is what I've stated to you twice now. It is a fact that profitability, of course, requires an 'edge' as well as discipline, consistency, and good trader psychology. However, I've seen enough retail sentiment over the years to know: the systems aren't the major problem. It's the discipline, consistency, and trader psychology that brings them down.

@@Kilo80Kilo "retail sentiment" you say? listen to this : good trades fail and bad trades work, you my mistake good retails failing because of psychology and discipline etc with what i;ve just said, they won for the wrong reasons, whatever i dont wanna hold a psycho clas in comment section but, you cant be what you are not, you can fake all you want it wont happen, why i say this ? because your psychology cant be in the winning side if you are not winning duh, a system in trading that work for someone will probablly never gonna work for someone else, because the one who makes money with it sees things that other people will never see and its called experience. but have it your way my man, just my 2 cents, pshychology "the way you see and think things" has 0 weight on reality , first comes reality, how things work, and than you can psycho all you want, otherwise you will hurtyourself.

In business we don’t call anything a “win”. There are only profits and loss. No report has “win” on it. Traders need to have a mind shift and quit referring to profit as a win. Words have deep emotional influence and when you think win you also think losing. That’s a deep physiological lesson

I hear you, but, “loss” most certainly has a greater impact on the psyche than “win” so if you’re not ok with “win” then you shouldn’t be ok using “loss” either. Also, I think you meant to say psychological lesson.
@TheseusTitan
@TheseusTitan 7 ай бұрын
@@newdecca Not true. In business, there is “Profit and Loss”. You can generate reports and they are labeled this way. Maybe you are thinking about using the word, “losing”. That word doesn’t have the same embedded impact as the word, “winning”. Words have emotional meaning to us whether we are conscious of it or not. The act of losing is different than what I am referring to. I’m referring to more of the word association to our emotions from the past that goes back to childhood

Once you have conviction behind longer duration setups (which comes with a lot of screen time) you will start to accumulate equity more effectively and take less risk. @@alexanderargint1396 sticking to a max % loss plan. Set a stop loss if you're not planning on baby sitting it. Just know that they can see stop loss orders and often the market maker will target some of those to free up shares. When I say let your winners run I mean have an exit plan and stick to it. You'll find what works for you and your time frame. Whether that's 3% up or 300% up. Tweak your strategy based on your results. Some people set their stop loss to where they keep a certain amount of their profits too. I don't like stop losses, but a lot of people do. It's good for defining the trade per se.
