Bar Replay needs synchronization amongst time frames so that multiple time frames will play market action back simultaneously. This is such an essential feature to strategy development.

Either allow for limit / stop entry orders or allow us to edit the entry line to be more specific since the bar doesn't paint like in the live markets and only skips to the OHLC.

I love the tradingview app, but the mutli timeframe issue in the bar replay mode is really ruining my entire backtest. I really hate this situation. Please fix this.

the candles doesn't move the way they do during real day time trading, this is what i was expecting from the feature. Is there anyway i can have access to this?

Would like if you could add such a feauture in replay where if we look at higher timeframes we can decided by how much should bars be updated. Meaning If i cut back to 31st Jan 9:00 clock and want to look at weekly timeframe, the chart should be what weekly chart was showing at 31st Jan 9:00 and not at the end of week. Like we should be able to choose by how much will price update. Helps for traders who use various timeframe for backtesting.

How do you get the replay bar to show the results on the screen as it did at minute 3:41. I've been clicking on everything and can't get that graphic to show up on my screen

I figured it out. If you let the replay finish, you'll get that splash screen. I don't think you can display it at will. I got a $19.75 profit with a 100% win rate. Woo Hoo! Great learning tool. Now I need to spend lots of time in this simulator so I don't crash the plane. TV is incredible software. My broker is currently Schwab, but after the hiccups they've had, I think I need to move on and perhaps get a broker that integrates with TV.

At what speed should i replay if i want to simulate the exact market timing of intraday charts? Like, if the market remains open for 5 hours in a day then the bar replay from first open candle till last close candle should also take 5 hours. I feel the need for this because replaying at higher speeds distorts our perception of time required for staying in the trade and this ruins our patience for playing in live market. Ideally there should be one option in the speed selection dropdown that says something like 'market time' which will replay bars accordingly e.g. 5 min bar will take 5 min to form, 15min bar will take 15min to form and so on. In a way replaying the recording of the entire market hours duration.

I was disappointed also that they didn't have the tick-by-tick replay. One important thing I need to practice is patience by observing the momentum (how fast, how slow) a candle is formed and this feature could help me a lot.

The chart settings menu has all the features you need to hide/show your specific tools. We have a video about this as well.

would be Excellent if jumping time frames while in replay mode doesn't reveal future price action when you switch back to a lower time frame
