Auntie still tasting the broth and won’t start selling until she thinks it is absolutely just right. A broth that is truly the heart and soul of this place. I could put anything into this broth and it would be delicious. Still at a cheap price and the dipping sauce is absolutely fabulous.

Vietnamese is difficult due to the accents. Thankfully there is no grammar as such. You are doing very well. Your red hared friend speaks excellent Vietnamese. Perhaps you should ask him to give you some pointers regarding the intonation. But your vocabulary is very good.

ông thần này tính review hết cái ẩm thực việt nam sao ? :)) ai giúp bạn làm phần vietsub vậy ? siêu siêu đỉnh , thực sự luôn đấy . mình là người hơi khó tính và rất thích cách dùng từ ngữ nên khi xem những clip của bn rất khoái . k chỉ là cách diễn đạt đơn giản chân thật của bn mà còn đọc sub , nhận thấy người viết sub cực kì am hiểu món ăn , nguyên liệu và cách dụng ngôn rất đỉnh- dù là ng vn vẫn phải khen câu này bởi k thiếu youtuber vn khai thác mảng ẩm thực nhưng họ thua bn rất xa trong cách dụng ngôn . thanksss vì giúp quảng bá món ăn việt đến thế giới thông qua kênh youtube của bn Max McFarlin

My man Max, I am so so proud of you for having the courage to try all the fermented sauces (mắm tôm, mắm tương, etc.) Do know that many Vietnamese can't even stand near the smell of them sauces so you're definitely up there among us Vietnamese!

Mình vẫn còn nhớ những buổi ăn sáng, nào xôi nếp than, nào cơm sườn, cháo, miến. Muốn gì có nấy. Cứ "má ơi, sáng mai mua cái này, má ơi con thèm cái kia" là có liền. Nhưng covid mà, nghĩ lại thấy những buổi ăn sáng ấy đơn giản mà hạnh phúc biết bao nhiêu, chẳng bù với 2 tháng qua mì gói liên tục :"((. Hi Max. Love your videos. You are so genuine and I love that you enjoy the hard-core Vietnamese food. One pointer: When you speak to someone older effectively auntie best to use the word "con" pronounced gong to refer to yourself. It's more personal instead of "toi". Keep making great videos. Makes me want to go back to VN to enjoy all those food.😍

Man, you've been doing some great eats lately, Max! I'm with you on the scallion oil in dessert. I always thought it odd especially if they go too heavy handed with it and add too much salt. I don't mind a bit of salt, but I want my sweets to be sweet! And you're not just an American, you're an American from the South, which means you like it super sweet and super oily/fried! LOL
