10 Can't miss things to eat in Bogota the best city for traditional Colombia food. In this Colombian city you'll find people from all over the country making authentic regional food. I visited La Puerta Falsa, Mercado La Perseverancia, Pasteleria Florida and Cumbia House to have some of the best food in Colombia.
You can support my work at / ayngelina where I share tips that don't make it into videos and behind the scenes content.

Angy, cheese dipped in chocolate is the real deal in Bogota; a tamal is a meal by itself (after 2 days in the fridge it tastes better, don't know why); you can buy chicha made of pinespple, grapes, and not only in Colombia but Chile, Venezuela too.

Rice Masato is very easy to prepare. Cook for about 20 minutes a cup of rice in 3 cups of hot water with white sugar and cinnamon. When it is cold, blend it and add the pineapple peel to ferment. Then serve cold and with ground cinnamon. In Colombia it is usually accompanied with a sponge cake called "mantecada".
