Traditional 'Royal' Qatari Wedding Celebration. Praying. Singing. Dancing. Unbelievable!!!!

I was invited to attend the after party of a Qatari wedding, but, not any normal Qatari wedding. The groom is a cousin of the Amir of Qatar, the King.
I was late so missed the Amir, but got the aftermath. Singing, dancing and praying Qatari style, before we headed back to the Majlis for Arabic tea and food!
This was my last video in Qatar. I hadn't been feeling great so was disappointed with my content. I hope however it has given you all a bit more of an understanding of the country.
I will be back in a few days to do a "final thoughts on Qatar" video.

Imagine a regular Arab guy visiting the UK or any European country and going to a royal wedding??!! I think they won't let him in. This shows the humbleness and hospitality of the Qatari people.

I am Saudi and I admire my brothers and sisters in Qatar for their dignity and pride in upholding their noble traditions and national outfits and especially letting their children wear them too. So impressive . really.

This is virtually a royal wedding. You probably didn’t recognize the many individuals there that are members of the royal family. The wedding buffet spread is amazing too and apparently on the ladies side, l am told its incredibly opulent. Nice to see you had a great time, Qatari hospitality is unmatchable.

I'm an Indonesian, but my grand dad was an Arab, and from my mother blood mixed side, we have families who are of Arabs or marry Arabs. I'm supposed not to be surprised with such wedding culture, but since we blend more with Indonesian culture (which also beautiful), I found this traditional Qatari culture is just beautiful !

Does the health cost abroad relate to all the citizens of Qatar or those that are relatives of the king ?

Every 'Qatari' person as far as I'm aware. Along with not paying for water and electric. 🙂

Health benefit overseas is for all Qataris. It is incredibly generous with no questions asked. If a Qatari, old or young , was being sent overseas, the government would usually pay for the guardian and often the guardian’s spouse and possibly their young children too. Its not unknown for a group of them accompanying the patient at Qatar’s cost and the guardian would be given fully paid work leave during this period too!
