In August each year, thousands of people travel from all over the globe to Glasgow, Scotland for this esteemed event which features the world's very best pipe bands performing in competition. TRADtv (alongside our parent company, Inner Ear) had the pleasure of providing live coverage on Day One of the competition and here is the winning set in full from eventual 2023 Champions, People's Ford Boghall & Bathgate.

The drum rolls that are accentuating the pipes changing notes from part to part at 7:01 blew my mind. Took about 15 watches to catch it.

It’s a beautiful kilt I’d love it in my collection I’ve idolised the boggles drum corps since I was a wee boy only vic police are ahead in my eyes well the were back in the 90s

@@lukepowers9016 So it is, I found a few examples here on YT but almost none by an equivalent pipes and drums band. I wanted to make a comparison to see just how well B and B did with their arrangement. Do you know any other such renditions, please? It's a fearsome jig!
