Kind of disappointed they didn't switch voice actors for the body swap. Imagining Nami's VA try to sound like Sanji or Chopper's VA imitate Franky would have been hilarious. I think the cast has the vocal talent for it. The studio probably didn't want the kids watching to be too confused.

I have never really forgiven Toei for choosing to swap voice actors along with the personalities. Like I know that's the easiest way to do it and the way most cartoons do it but I hated body swap plots until I saw the other way of doing it. Anyone who has seen "The Great Brain Robbery" episode of Justice League Unlimited or Shakugan no Shana S. Episode 01 "Reshuffle" knows that having voice actors impersonate each other's character and adopt each other's inflections to represent the body swap is peak comedy and for a long running show like One Piece with such recognizable inflections it would have been peak to go the impersonation route.

3:57 Reason why Nami takes this to heart is because she also was a child when Bellemere took her in from a battlefield. So hearing children in disstress makes her think of herself in their situation. For taking in children is what Bellemere did, so Nami follows in her mothers footsteps!!!

The "operation" with the heart (in a cube) he removed from Smoker works like how he sliced up various marines like, well, Smoker, Tashigi, or the fodder at Sabaody. The operation with two hearts on strings (no cube encasing them) swapping places are more of a symbolic indicator for the personality-swap ability he has.

Punk Hazard isn’t really anyone’s (that i know at least) favorite arc. It has lots of fun moments though, as well as some amazing memes! Sanji definitely needs to chill. Love that Franky is popular with the kids.

@QueenBlaze Law's ability allows him to cut people up, but they won't necessarily die as seen when he beheads,decapitates, and amputates his victims. Hence why Smoker can move without his heart. Law's ability is called the Op-Op fruit which is fitting because it's a very overpowered fruit when in the right hands. Lol The Samurai is a Devil Fruit user though he doesn't really know it. His ability to create clothes from rocks and leaves is pretty neat.
