On Thursday, May 23, 2024, a joint exercise of VFD Tolmin firefighters and Tolmin EMS paramedics took place. The premise of the exercise was that there was an accident involving a large number of vehicles. Several ambulances and a large number of firefighters from VFD Tolmin with four vehicles were immediately sent to the scene of the accident. It turned out that 5 seriously injured people were involved in the accident. Firefighters secured the scene and with technical intervention rescued injured persons from three vehicles and handed them over to paramedics for further care. Firefighters Association Tolmin with a drone also provided guidance.
Kudos to the firefighters of VFD Tolmin and paramedics of EMS Tolmin for an excellent exercise and good cooperation between the units!
