Trail Breakdown/Sears Diesel TOW TRUCK

Had some trouble on the trail, and a temporary repair was not possible... So the Sears was commissioned for tow duty!

sears the torque monster!! it pulls so well. can you do a refresher on idle pullys and the double clutch please.. keep up the good work cant wait to see how the pinto turns out..

Oh man, I had that happen earlier this year,I dropped into a creek bed and the rod popped off the swivel ball. Luckily a few hits with a rock got it fixed enough to drive it back to the garage. Nice recovery with the Sears, That thing is a tank!!!

Nice trail run Vidds !👍🏼 I would love to be running my off-road lawn tractor with you guys! It's bin a wile since I've see mine because it's at a summer house in PA now ! I used to have it at my Inlaws Upstate N.Y. and did many miles of trails with it. I'm using the same tires you used 2 years ago. Soon I'll do a walk around video of it and I will put it on my KZfaq channel BOTAJELL . Keep up the good work 👍🏼

i had the same exact problem my tie rod broke and i had to push my tractor back to the house haha, great vid as always...

The diesel and locked rear end is the way to go. I'd kind of like to try that engine on a longtail boat.

thate sears is a beast who needs 4 wheel drive. Todd i am wanting to build an off road mower any hints on what mower i should look for and ones to stay away from. most of my riding would be on sand and dirt tracks sometimes with mud but not very often where i live it doesn't rain much but when it does boy it does. mark

Hey fearless, can you do a quick speed run on the Sears please. I'm going to buy a 10 HP for racing depending on how fast yours goes. Great videos. Keep up the good work.

The Sears is a garden tractor. The gearing would not make a good racing mower. 6 gear ( 3 Hi ) has a ratio around 25:1. If you would drive it at a input ratio of 1:1. Speed will be 10-11mph. They also don't shift on the fly well.

Ok well I kinda just want to see how much speed the 10hp diesel would make on a big tractor like that. I just have a little 1960s lawnflite with a three speed gear box with a centifigul clutch coming off a 12 HP Briggs.

so how do you manage the keep the belt from slipping with all that water? I've got a belt driven Honda Pilot with the cvt clutch like a snowmobile and if I get it in water it slips bad

He has tons of belt tensioners and his clutch is a custom system you can check out his playlist and it will show you how to do it yourself hope this helps

yup.. mud king had those exact tires and they do better in mud than knobbys..but I'd rather have bald turf savers with a locked rear end than this open diff crap.. ppl think it's better to keep the diff open but nothing stronger than a straight shaft like the doc locker... and even if I had an 820 with a live axle straight through and support bearings I'd never run tires that big or even near that aggressive..
