Yup, it's a really fine unit...a few quirks but nothing to make it a deal breaker. In fact I love that it's my dash and I can see temp, speed, volts...yeah it's much more then a Garmin that yeah cost the same but does a lot less.

I have a 97 kawasaki 125 and I'm debating on getting this but now sure how I will keep the thing charged with the bike not have a battery. I am usually out on the trail from sun up to sun down how does your gas gas keep it charged if the lithium battery are only good for 2hours

I'm rendering a video now showing the Voyager Pro menus and stuff. Hopefully have that up by the end of the day. I'm loving it. It works really well. Right now if you go here and look at page 101 there is a $100 off code good through November. www.upshiftonline.com/magazine-issue/november-2018

That’s not a con to have old trails saved….. that’s a main selling point lol and I’ve never wanted to use anything but gpx it’s simple and common use.

The dock can be locked using the small allen wrench that is included with the kit. Look for the small hole on the dock, insert the wrench, and twist it counter clock wise until you feel it tighten.

Good thing I have a spare on my desk, wow that isn't obvious at all...LOL The Hole is smaller then a gnat's balls....hahaha But you are right so I'll update that in future video.

Brian DeHate that little allen key is tiny enough to easily hide on your bike. I slip it between the rubber bands and forks that hold on my headlight. The L part upside down to keep it from sliding down. It’s also out of sight from a would be thief.

You can lock the mount so it won't eject, it takes and allen wrench that tightens it to lock it.
@Meekerextreme
@Meekerextreme 4 жыл бұрын
I learned that after, this is an old video. Not an obvious lock and might not work depending on your setup, so I never use it and it's never ejected again.

Would this make sense to put on a road only bike? I looked at a GPS unit from BMW but it's 1200$, and figured this is would make a good speedo as well so should I look into it, also does the speed show while in map mode?
@Meekerextreme
@Meekerextreme 4 жыл бұрын
It would work fine on a street bike, the speed does indeed show while in map mode.

Aren't you worried about smashing it if looping out or dropping the bike? Is there any armor for it? Seems it sits high.
@Meekerextreme
@Meekerextreme 5 жыл бұрын
I was, but it has ejected off the bike once and it survived, they did a great job. Trail Tech has a durability video where they hit it with a hammer. They do make a billet protector for it now. However I'm unsure if that would allow me to move it from bike to bike still. I'll have to check it out, it's new and only just coming out. I agree on the Gas Gas it does sit high I probably could make a mount to tuck it away but I haven't done that yet.
