Since October 1st 2019, anti-corruption protesters in #Iraq have been fighting against their government. Sick of unemployment, stolen public funds, dire services, and foreign interference in Iraq, they come with flags, rocks, and Molotovs. They've been met with live gunfire from the secruity forces and #Iran backed militias. More than 400 of the Iraqi protesters have been shot dead since protests began.
Cameraman Luke Pierce recently spent time with the protesters in Baghdad.
