You are so talented and I could watch you draw all day if I didn't have anything to do....I'm going to start back drawing like I use to just because of you. Thank you sooooo much for showing your wonderful gift.

I love the way you show how alluring the line of the pencil is at the very beginning. I love how modest you are! The work is the most important thing... This really shows a fantastic artist at the height of his powers. Brilliant work, David.

Love your work, if you are an infant, what we are?, the best thing about your work is that inspires us to simply do, people like me, that not take the maximun effort we can to increase our drawing- painting skills. BTW you work is delightful, this is an amazing work and you are so (down to earth) I'm even more amazed...

Evolution, availability of tools and materials made today's artists to come to the same plain field with the masters of the past. only back then, they had more devotion!

Any plans on making this available as a digital download? DVDs are quite outdated these days, and are a nuisance for those of us who like to keep all our videos on our hard drive, and especially for those without an optical drive on their computer. I'd really like to purchase this, and would do so instantly if it was available as a download rather than DVD.

WOW you are amazing!! If i may can i ask a quick question? I noticed that your charcoal pencil was very sharp...my pencils, on the other hand break when using any kind of sharpener so im forced to use exacto knives. I was just wondering how you managed to sharpen your pencil without it breaking!!

What kind of a charcoal and paper r u using to achieve this effect. When i practise this technique my shadows turn out to be kinda spongy and i cant quite place the charcoal smooth and equal everywhere.Strokes from the stick remain unblanded. I use the softest char I can find- basically a burnd stick and blend with a brush...so it's prob the paper. Mine is smooth...shouldnt it be ? TY for your time, your art is great!

@DavidJonKassan well you are on the right path to being them , practicing and doing art the way the masters such as the aforementioned did it, which is quite rare with artists these days, who dont value drawing as much, you and a few others are exceptions it seem. Especially your skin tones are amazing, so life like. you an art infant? i would love to have the skills you have, i hope one day to learn from you, ie attending one of your workshops and buying your DVDs

@PD19954 ...Well I have to disagree...many of the new artists today DEFINITELY value drawing...look at the Gnommn school...all the people in any animation or related...You learn quickly " line is everything...then value, then colour" Corot....what he said is so true...if one paints in any shape or form representational...drawing is everything...everything...your painting is as good as your drawing...
