So many EX characters in UM, some of the best movement in the series. OST! Team USA LOL Simple to get into to but hard to master, not overly LONG-WINDED like future games in the series.

@@jinraigami3349 Kof 98 brought together all the characters from the previous versions is why it's played to this day plus that boss is just insane. I agree that the gameplay is lacking but there's just some characters or versions you can only play in that game(like King of fighters 95 Ryo). I prefer kof 2002 UM gameplay wise. It also brought all the characters together from that saga. Now an underrated game is King of fighters 11. You can do some insane combos without Max mode and you could tag at any time.

@@rodrigogois The thing is that KOF was never supposed to be a platform for the character development of FF chars. They have their own franchise for that... that just happens to be dead since the late 90s. But it wasnt dead when KOF was made, so that doesnt belong to the founding essence of KOF. Both FF and AOF were alive and pretty well in the making of KOF 94. And besides, KOF works in a completely separated universe. Even if it made one or two interesting things with Terry, the real "canon" character of Terry only exists in FF. And the KOF versions of all those FF and AOF chars will always be irrelevant, undeveloped and used for comedic relief (AOF much more than FF). That's unfortunately their "role" in KOF.
