You got to the movies early to see the " previews" I don't remember the word trailer being used till the 80s.

@@ATGNATPodcast right, it wasn't until my cousin (RIP) went to film School I started hearing the word trailer. I think the 1st might have actually been for *The Phantom Menace ".

@@ATGNATPodcast you got 2 movies for the price of 1 and did not have to worry about getting caught by the idiot usher. I worked at a movie theater I used to let kids sneak in all the time.
