Hi there. Question: Is the interior of the remastered buildings going to be dark grey or something? The renders on kickstarter look like there's not much light going through the windows, doors... It looks dark inside the buildings... I'm asking this because that's the aspect that drew me most to the game, watching those 3d building parts blend with the light coming from my living room window and seeing the shadows indide them. It just adds to the magic of the game :) If you compare the previous kickstarter with this one, you see the huge difference in the light inside the buildings. Is it just the renders? Will they have white insides? =) Amazing project! Thank you, cheers!

Hi, James. When you get a chance, could you please make a similar video to this one where you examine the remastered building pieces close up? I recently learned about the Pantheon Edition and was ready to place a preorder on Backerkit... but then I noticed the remastered buildings in Update #36 (17 May 2024) seemed to have far worse 3D print resolution than the ones shown in the original Kickstarter photos. (This can easily be seen by comparing the upper left image in the 6-photo block in Update #36 with the upper centre image, which possesses far more detail.) I suspect I'm not the only one now holding off on making a preorder until I can be sure what the final pieces will actually look like. Many thanks in advance.

The buildings used in the KS video are prototypes that were sprayed with a can of spray paint, so do not use those as a reference as to what the final buildings will look like (it even says at the bottom of the frame "prototype shown, not representative of final quality"). You can reference the turntable video in update 37 to see the finalized building finish and textures.

@@TheRoosterJuice Thanks for your prompt reply. Naturally, I understand prototypes don't always reflect final build quality... but I just wasn't expecting the crispness and fine detail in the final version of the towers to appear so much lower than in those early prototypes. Things usually move in the opposite direction. ;-) I suppose I could always add a wash to the cobbles, windows, and doorways in an effort to restore those edge details. I'll have a think about it and decide whether to go ahead with my preorder. All the best.

Retail Edition will be more basic components featuring the level of the quality you expect from Roxley. But yes, it will be available at retail!

Please make a god cards upgrade pack only option for backing. I already have the game. I just want the updated and added gameplay features. Not interested in deluxifying an already great looking game. The dice mechanic in the Sphinx expansion is a big red flag for me.

Totally agree ! I already have the game so I won't buy it a second time, even with a material slightly improved. And the dice would had a random aspect to a mathematical game, so => 🚩
