I remember seeing that buggy in Crawl magazine a few years back. Cool build and everything is backwards on it. I think I remember reading the dude cut himself bad with a grinder or something while building it

Looks like fun! I'd be interested to know the reasoning behind building a right hand drive buggy?

Good question actually. The entire buggy is kind of backwards, and the transmission even sits in it backwards. Brian decided to put the steering on the right since the gear pattern is literally upside down from a normal vehicle, he would learn to shift with his left so it didn't screw up his muscle memory in a regular vehicle.
