Video #232 - a journey from Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Station Bengaluru to Palakkad Junction by the 16315 Mysuru Junction - Kochuveli Express, in AC 3-Tier Sleeper.
This journey shows the run from KSR Bengaluru to Whitefield in fair detail, and visuals of Bangarapet, Kuppam, Tirupathur stations. It was an interesting journey that starts very early in the evening from Bengaluru and drops in Palakkad a little past midnight.
We purchased our Dinner from KSR Bengaluru itself - but you could wait till Bangarpet and buy from there. On board catering is also available.

ശരിക്കും മൈസൂർ -തിരുവനന്തപുരം പുതിയ daily ട്രെയിൻ ആണ് വേണ്ടിയിരുന്നത്, ഇത് മൈസൂർ ലേക്ക് നീട്ടിയതിൽ പിന്നെ മിക്കവാറും late ആണ് due to late running of pairing train,പിന്നെ timing not that much useful for Mys passengers. അത് കൊണ്ട് train extension അല്ല വേണ്ടത് പുതിയ ട്രെയിൻ ആണ്, പ്രതേകിച്ചു തിരക്കുള്ള റൂട്ടകളിൽ.

Bengaluru railway systems seem to be under huge upgrades. I know that they are catching up to long needed upgrades but I'm kind of jealous about this as a Chennaite as SR has stopped spending in Chennai rail systems for a while now.

SR has a larger area to handle. Years of spending only on Chennai has caused inconveniences to people in other areas of SR.

Good vlog !! I agree with you that standing beyond the yellow line at the railway station is a safety hazard for passengers. Hope, the Nilambur-Nanjangud line becomes a reality, sooner than later. A long time ago, railbuses used to operate between Bangarpet Jn. and Kolar. One could see those rakes there.

40:10 - You should totally start doing map overlays in your videos! Especially when you show lines coming from somewhere else, yard layouts, etc. Or in this case, the entire train route (could do this at the beginning of each video perhaps). Not sure what the copyright situation would be if you used Google Maps, but you can totally use Open Street Maps or Open Railway maps to get screenshots from

The erstwhile Bangalore City station had only 5 PFs which is heritage building and front side was constructed only during late 1960s!!

Very few people use this train from Mysuru to Kerala. It's a really long route. And this train was extended to free up one line in SBC.
