I'm so excited for this route the 158 is a train I see regularly albeit in northern livery so I really hope skyhook get it right and the hst is always good to have i'm excited to get some liveries made

I like the 158, especially since I use to ride them from Bathgate to Edinburgh when I was a boy. Plus it would be cool to see the interior of the class 43 HST. Cause I thought they where all the same lol.

If the route went to st. Pancras that would solve the problem of the route being to small. And also if than extended it to st. Pancras they could add the class 360 to Route and if they were ambitious the class 700 as well and also the 222 as well for good measure.

@severeweatheralert6522 even extended it to Sheffield at the minimum just so you can walk around the station but no we can't have that cuase skyhook can't get refrence material I'll give them the pictures it would also add some replay value as your not doing the same Leicester -Nottingham service you can do some Leicester-sheffield services then some go to Nottingham and come back out to Leicester and go to London.

I can't wait I'm from Shirebrook in Derbyshire and this will be by far my favourite route as it will be my home route can't wait hope we don't have to wait too long absolutely buzzing my birthday is in March so if it comes out in March what a birthday present

158s were introduced as Super Sprinters to be used on express services. Some had Super Sprinter on the side, others had Express and just to be different others had Regional Railways. Not included were the 158/9s of WYPTE.

As EMR got rid of the Class 43, i'm wondering if they might add the Class 222 Meridian as a standalone train? Would be more fitting for real life so to speak.

I was hoping this route would be added although i'd prefer it if it went from st. Pancras to nottingham/ derby and if the swift livery was available that would hit the nostalgia button for me.

Can’t wait for this. The only thing that bothers me is how short the route is. Especially with the EMT 125. But on the good side, WE FINALLY HAVE A 158!!!!

I can not wait for the 158. I have been asking for it for ages... I wonder however if they will have it available on it's weird 3 car consist that only GWR run...I understand it's EMT but as there are many variety's of it, would be cool to see

I’m looking forward to this from PoV long Eaton station in my home town though I’ll reserve judgment on 158 given current sad state of affairs with west Cornwall 150/2 fake sprinter

They should continue to Sheffield, and south to London St Pancras, they could of added more trains, including Thames Link.

I wish but remember we are talking about TSW here, not TSC where there is a lot more going on behind the scenes to run the game. Also the limitations of the consoles. Think of a TSC route that may work great on one pc but bad on the other, they need to give a balanced view of the game. Anyway, hopefully soon we will get to that stage with more work

coolish route adding the 158 but another hst and only about 40 miles of route is slightly disappointing north wales coastal would've been a better choice in terms of length and rolling stock as the intercity services would be run by voyagers although i have no clue about frequency on this route athough i do know nwcl would be decently busy and has a good amount of space for expansion with all the branches and all the different type of stock with 150s 153s 158s 175s 221s and tfw mk4 sets and some freight trains

Poor route in my opinion… it’s only 30 odd miles! Only good thing is the 158.. don’t get the missing Sheffield too! They’ve missed an opportunity tbh. We need the ECML and Class 80x family.
