We take a look at the New York to Trenton route, with a run from New York Penn to Rahway in the ALP - 46 before a quick look at the Multi-Level Cab Car.

As a previous rider of this line, the stations and scenery are very close to real life, except the Sim version makes every look much cleaner and the weather is always wonderful.😊

All I’m gunna say mark when you mentioned the busy levels of the route. This is one of the most busiest lines out of NY. On par with WCML South so it should be a lot more busier than this especially in the city area

Anybody that know Penn Station knows this Station had trains coming and going like crazy. There's normally "at lease" 4 to 6 trains either coming in or leaving that station every 5 mins.

The New Jersey Transit coaches weigh just shy of 140,000 for the cabcars while the trailing cars with restroom weight a little over 134,000 and the standard trailer car weights over 132,000 there some of the heavier coaches in the US but the Amtrak superliner's are the heaviest

penn station nyc is a dump in real life but they are doing major renovations but the monihan train hall across the street is beautiful shame nj transit doesn't depart from there

Regarding the PIS boards for this route they aren't accurate DTG has used UK style PIS boards for this route which isn't correct they have done that on all the US passenger routes

Will we ever get to see a Blackpool south or Central station route in the future I keep seeing a lot of information about the route and it would be awesome! Also what's progress on the route to Fleetwood in real life do you know is it still going ahead? cheers!

There is no corner like that to my knowledge and all of the tracks are through tracks so that is probably why there is no buffer, Also from platform 5 onward there is different lighting since that was redone with the Moynihan train hall renovation.also if you paid attention to the prompts of the speed limit changes coming up i feel like this route would not be hard at all lol i have heard a coupe different people say the same thing but they also never paid attention to the actual driving lol

they didn't copy and paste 2020 route without checking these issues they wouldn't be getting as much back lash as they did. i bought it had 3 crashes. i feel between cars at newark and the platform doesnt have the climb up function since its pasted in. so since im on console i had to run and find a keyboard to get unstuck.

301 services is very low. The Amtrak services are good. But the NJT when comparing to reality represents maybe 20% of the actual services. On the ALP-46 only has only 10 pull services down to Trenton for a 24 hours timetable. So I would compare this timetable current state to the BML if it had launch with half the services to Brighton included and nothing else. I lived in NY for 20 years so I know how the NEC should look and this DLC doesn't do it justice

Thanks for the input, I've seen this a lot since release and making the video and now agree there's a lot missing. As someone from the UK with a less knowledgeable interest I'm still learning the US stuff. Very frustrating that so much is left off.

@@TrainSim_TV it’s a lot like WCML between London and Milton Keynes. Busy as anything. Or ECML between London and Peterborough. NYP is like London Bridge or waterloo in terms of busyness. This whole route should feel like BML between east Croydon and Victoria. It’s very busy

Trying to drive this but get half way up the route and it emergency stops with the slower alarm warning, it will not let me acknowledge the alarm or move again and yet there is no manual for the route or traction and the tutorials are too basic and mention nothing at all about it. What am I supposed to do with this?

Why are you You Tubers so stuck on the sounds? That scrap does not matter. How about some force feedback from the controller. A career mode. A dispatcher.. You UK katz are too worried about simple stuff. Who gives a damn about the way the tires roll?? And a horn the brakes. And you're still playing the game. Come onnnnnn bro. Every train is not gonna drive the same. The game looks GREAT at the stations stop complaining.....From Your Boy Poorhouzzzzzzz
