Holy Moly OMG PA1 Units my all-time favorite passenger Locomotive ever made. Delaware and Hudson and Lehigh Valley ran here all the time, many pictures of them locally running. The Lehigh Valley PA1s had their number boards on the side of their classification lights. ALCO hired a man name Ray Patton which was a Home Goods inventor of appliances Designed the PA1 & PB as reasons certain parts of the locomotive shape look like a household item like a Toaster or kitchen ware is because that's what he did for a living design appliance. Alco didn't want to spend a lot of money on unit given this New Engine type. There were only 3 different design models that were ever made of the PA1. In 1947 the PA1 ran the Freedom Train, other note the PA1 was never field tested before railroads bought them, which tests would have taken 3 years to do on the 244 Engine type which at the time was the most powerful Alco engine produced and so all the units started to breaking down one-by-one known as the 244itis as where GE took over with their Newer F7 units with 1000 hp twin engines as crews loved them because if one died the other could be used. Early 50's Alco made a concept PA4 with a 251 engine but was never mass produced as to the Delcine of passenger service as automobiles were taking over. Few Alco PA1s still exist to this day! The single Headlight version also had a version as where the Headlight was a Gyro Headlight white or Red like the famous Mars Light that didn't bob up and down but ran in a clockwise circler motion. 6:15 the Pilot Handlebar is an extended classy looking uncoupler handlebar as the mechanism is under the front nose and Pilot making it look more streamlined, when is in use of uncoupling, as where the Black New York Central unit is in that pocket that you looked at but wasn't modeled or forgotten. 6:37 Radio Antena and ground plane plate, now I know you may think well all locomotives had Antenna's back then Nope go look at older pictures of F7 units even RS1 RS3 units you'll notice they don't have any as well, early concepts of Radio Antena. I'm not going to say anything about the Cab Interior as I understand its free ware, but the cab looks nothing like that. Great Location 👍👍 for test run.

I actually have a model of the PA1 by Rapido Trains. Though my Santa Fe PA1 is number 52. I love the model so much. This railworks model is accurate. I can confirm that the PA1 loco was actually purchased by freight railroads

This overall isn't horrible. Could use some tocuhup, but overall for freeware this is good. 7/10 on my scale.
