Very nice presentation:) I wars last week at the same train station and wait for the LNER Train to Newcastle (cycle from Behmish Museum Park via Chester-le-Street to Durham):) Greetings from Berlin/ Germany (I’m work for DB)… The LNER Azuma train ride wars fantastic

The lack of freight down this line is disappointing 😟

Doesn't a lot of the freight run on the costal line, connecting ports and what remains of the region's industries? It can't be easy slotting freight trains in between 200 kph intercity passenger services.
