2 December 2018 | Sorry for the lack of uploads as I am running out of stuff to upload, and took 2 days (about an hour each day) to edit subtitles for this video.
Hope you guys enjoy the subtitles I specifically added in :D
First time filming a train on the East-West Line under the new Communications Based Train Control signalling system. Also while filming, there was a lot of C151s (5 were featured). Kinda sad when the C151B's signalling suffered problems.
Apologies for the delay from 09:39 to 11:05 as the train had trouble leaving the station.
Train: Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CRRC Qingdao Sifang C151B
Set: 643/644
Train run number: 153, then switched to 953 when off-service
Line: East-West/Green Line
Stations: [EW2]Tampines to [EW1]Pasir Ris

Is prob of the inter lock. I think the doors didint close properly and if u dont know why the PSD close 1st is because they dont want anyone to enter the train

I believe that it is the C151B door failure or systems. As went, the doors are shut the light is still illuminated. Even after many attempts, the most plausible reason is that the driver may not be trained enough so the driver did not know what went wrong NO system shut down was made nor was there a seen attempt to bypass the doors issue. It is most definitely NOT the PSD fault

If this happened at pasir ris station, reason is either PSD fault or the crossover is being occupied by trains

Only the former is likely. Many other C151 trains came and went, but this C151B was stuck at Pasir Ris. I think a similar situation happened to 051/052, just that the train itself also had a major fault.

I’m a Singaporean and Vietnamese and I’ve never seen anything like this, I think it’s an error (just like you said). It kind of makes me worried because it could make the whole station (Pasir Ris) potentially “shut down”.

As much as I hate KSF, I find it quite saddening that this happened. C151B is rare on EWL, (I had to camp at a station just that get this) and seeing it break down makes things even worse. It's just like non-KSF breaking down on NSL. See, KSF is China quality, thus it sucked.

I don't have any preferences nor favorite trains. Each train has its good qualities and bad qualities. I only dislike it when I keep getting a particular train model on a particular line too many times. I get sick and tired of it.

(DONT TELL ME HOW I KNOW THIS) The c151b was on the station so after he got on he got off then the c151b was not moving, it can be an track fault or an Train fault, if the train was fault it wasnt able to move to cause this, the c151b was moving at the end But HOW?!, to answer this the c151b was having a technical difficulties, it means the train brakes or speed, an the train was moving slowly beacause it was going back to the depo This also happened to me when i was on it

Apparently it's the first train model on the NSEWL. I'm still unsure why they painted the rims above the doors and windows all black for all C151s, they make the C151s look so ugly in my opinion... Of course, I prefer the unrefurbished C151 to the refurbished C151. During refurbishment of the C151s, 9 seats per window were downgraded to 7 seats per window (gonna happen when the C651s get refurbished as well). And the most annoying part is that all C151s are bar trains now.
