Thanks for this as we live down in La Mata but I didn't realise there was a train between Alicante and Benidorm. Will take the kids on the weekend just to experience it. As my son is fascinated with trains!

watch out for the guys who work in benidorm tram ticket office.we purchased 5 tickets return to alicante the conman behind the desk had given us two used tickets.?did not realise till 2 of the group had to pay again in alicante

There is hardly any space for a normal suitcase. Better to take a taxi, even if it is more expensive.

take the bus next to the train station, it is faster
