Train Whistle Origin 8 Final Remake (Except not really)

Happy Thanksgiving Day everyone! Today, I have something quite special (sort of) some of you probably know this already
This is it, the final remake of my 8th Train Whistle Origin video. I already made this video twice before, but as the old saying goes "Third Times The Charm." This is my third and final remake of this video. I was very exhausted when I was working on this one, again, but it's finally done.
Edit 3-1-23: It looks like we still have a mystery of the NYC Niagara Whistle. If anyone can help me out, I would be very appreciated.
Edit 4-23-23: So it turns out that the origin for Whistle 9 is actually Southern Pacific GS-4 #4455, not Texas and Pacific #610. Sorry about that.

Fun Fact: K&L's NYC Niagara whistle is actually incorrect. The Niagaras had Hancock Long-Bell 3 chimes and an Air Horn, not Nathan 6 chimes.

When I made the video, I didn’t include the horn, because I didn’t think I would have to include it in this video. Also, you’re referring to the real-life Niagara’s, right?

Take it this week kids remember the E2 class that’s Thomas and if you were around 1913 and 1916 everyone would remember what it would look like it would be a lot of thinking and without a tender or a big coal supply behind the train so back to the thing in 1961 it was retired and sadly in 1962 it got scrapped and years later in the 80s and 70s someone decided to make a show aboutTrains that sure would be well known as Thomas and friends and famous training it Thomas is basically based on the famous E2 class

Does the second whistle from the iron giant film sound like southern pacific 4449 or NC&StL 576 but slightly deep pitched

I don’t know. It can’t be from the 4449 since its whistle sounded a bit higher pitched. Not as high pitched as the current whistle, but it can’t be NC&StL 576, since I don’t think there is a lot of recordings of that particular whistle recorded long before 1999, the year that film was released. The closest guess I can make here is that the sound might have originated from Southern #722 (or probably #630 since they had the same type of whistle) since it sounded almost the same as it did in the film.

I don’t know why, but I don’t feel that 765 is where the Niagara’s whistle came from. It doesn’t really sound like it to me.

I’m also starting to have doubt myself as well. The more I think about it, the less it sounds like 765, but more like some other engine. So yeah, I agree with you on that one.

It is definitely a 6 chime, but not the same one that K&L Trainz used.

At 2:36? There is no way that only ONE whistle can be used in TWO steam engines simultaneously. 1) C&O 614 was never on the N&W and it once had a single chime hooter from the N&W. It’s now on static display. 2) I have NEVER included a SINGLE clip of MARION in ANY of my videos. NOT even this one. 3) I highly doubt that it came from N&W 475. I would have to work my butt off with all the research but I would never even get CLOSE to finding the actual source.

@@T128Productions You see the 614 has a C&O hooter and the 475 has a N&W hooter and the hooters sound the same like marions whistle
