there's something so haunting about trains. it's almost like they are the worlds biggest scariest animal, the way it announces itself with the whistle and the chugging throughout the forest like a mountain lion or a bear roaring, it gives me shivers.

I like how you can see some of the old driving boxed and belt hoops for what used to be the car battery charging system. I remember seeing them still in operation when they did a couple of steam specials through Pittsburgh in the late 70's early 80's.

Still wish I got to see 611 at strasburg but at I got videos to watch of the event. Also hope there will be some news on what's store for 2020 for 611 since she can't do any mainline excursions thanks to amtrak. Same goes for other mainline excursion stars like 4449 and 765. Plus I will continue to hate amtrak til they unban the steam ban

no because there are parts under the train that could knock you out or kill you, or there might be a derailment or a situation where the train has to sit there for hours while u are unber it
