Its good to see things from the point of view of the driver, being part of the infrastructure maintenance army - also the 70s aren't the best looking locos around,but my god can they pull !!!

The nineties definitly look smart in the "new" Freightliner livery. And the acceleration was phenomenal.

Very enjoyable that. We've had, for the first time in a long time, 70004 working to Wentloog here in Newport, South Wales on the Maritime 'liner from Southampton. All the best. I have subbed.

Great videos I've always loved traveling on trains and over the last few years I've been collecting wagon number's as well and it's getting harder to find ones in the lists so is there any way of finding out where certain wagons can be found any help would greatly be relieved once again thanks for the content you put out

Yep she has moved to Crewe HC, it’s visible from a passing train parked nearest the building on the other side of one the APT trailers

Thanks for these priceless videos, Brain. Does your route knowledge include Grand Junction route, Rugby to Stafford via Bescot? If so, it seems signal WS8311 at the north end of the Bushbury Loop has been relocated to ground level. Would that be to avoid northbound drivers misreading that as a signal on the main line from a distance?

For us newbies… what’s the story with 003? What did she do to you?
@garymoreton32449 ай бұрын
I think it kept breaking down on him 😂
@beeble20039 ай бұрын
Broke down on him, twice. And I think he said he's only had three break-downs in his career.

How come you have two 90’s on intermodal trains? But it’s only one 66 on an intermodal?
@Traindriverbrian19 ай бұрын
Costs and a class 66 has better traction when pulling a heavy train
@beeble20039 ай бұрын
90s are light and have four axles, so they can't exert a large force on the train to start it, but they can go fast. 66s are heavy and have six axles, so they're exactly the opposite.
