Tasmanian here, originally from shoe town. I really enjoy watching these videos to see how the network has altered since emigrating. I worked out of Northampton Pway for a number of years

3:34 Do love the look of those 730s. The livery goes well on them. Still shocked how they haven't been put into service yet; it's a bit odd.

On a slight name derivation note, Northampton was a cordwaining (shoe making) town, not a cobbler (mainly shoe fixing) town. You could almost say it’s a load of cobblers!

Great video. Not seen another channel that goes behind the scenes like this. Just a basic question, which you might have answered in a previous video. Do the loco's have a toilet ? Just wondered as you're sitting at red lights a lot and for a long time 🙂 and when you gotta go you gotta go!

Traction purposes. Class 90 are geared for multi use and can slip with heavy trains. Having two locos enables the power to be put down much easier

Just wanted to ask, if the front loco brakes are on does it also mean that the rear loco brakes if double loco is needed would they be activated

As long as the locomotives are electrically linked then yes on a 90 you would get rheostats on both locos If they weren’t connected electrically then the loco would act as a wagon and put the normal brakes on like a wagon

I also sign Southampton but it’s rare I go now as Crewe drivers don’t go there I also sign garston and should sign Trafford park soon

We have breaks built in but in an emergency you stop and find a bush
