Consider this - Billions of dollars are spent in training the mind, body and soul with defence. Not just in Australia, as allies share info. But consider this, every other month platoons are formed at Kapooka. From all over the country (and world), where people, who have never met before, embark on a 3 month training camp. For the most part, you are running everywhere, hungry and tired all the time, but the bonds you form with the people in that platoon are strong. Even with people that you don't like, still work together. It surprise me that not every NRL sets a month at the end of the year or start, in order to strengthen the bonds through as series of grueling tests. The Bronco's, if they want to do anything need to allocate a month, where two weeks of that are in an isolated camp and just drilled and grilled. It works for Defence.

Is it enough? Bonding is more emotional and mental then physical ! The first 10 games will decide whether you make the playoffs not the last 10 weeks of pre-season?

the boys being out through the challenges will bond physically as well as emotionally and gaining a smooth team bond through hard work and dedication for the opposite man. they will then through friendship and companionship push themselves harder for the team/ team- mates which will create a co-operative team on and off field.

@@thomaslawson3685 well,they better bond better than the bond with their partners cause when they go home it will be different ball game! When their family life is good and they can concentrate on their football then what they wanted to achieve pre-season will be worth the effort but if they have problems at home and their minds are distracted then all the money in the World would not be enough for them to duplicate the bonds they made in their efforts on the field! A happy chappy off the field is a happy snappy on the field ! There are so many variables leading up to every game and every day is different so the frame of mind has to be one with the same mindset as the rest of the team! If everybody is happy and on the same page before the game then they can fall back n the bonds they made,if not then the mental and emotional mindset is scattered and distracted and so is their commitment on the field!

@@boazwikeepa2568 num 1on the board does not guarantee a grand-final win nor does it mean their pre-season bonding was the the catalyst for their current rankings ! It helped that the fake covidid has soften at least half the teams and their season fell away as soon as it started a la Broncos the richest and most resourceful team in NRL who like the panthers had just as a good pre-season yet languish at the bottom of the ladder ! As we all know there are at least 6 weeks missing in the current season and for any reason those 6 weeks has been a blessing or a curse depending on the balance of the teams personal and team interactions relevant to their goal to reach and win the 2020 grand final ! Obviously your post is a dig at mine considering where they are in the season but it has no bearing on the outcome of the coming season ! We shall see and I doubt the Panthers can go all the way so Its safe to say you won't post again if that's the case ! I dare say Cleary's involvement in Origin will cost his teams progress and a knockout at some stage is the Panthers lot this year !
