this is what i call training. for athletes to understand. in my country, they send us back again and tell us to get it right with not telling us what to get right. i love this

Geweldig! Zo gaaf om te zien. En super moeilijk! Ik heb net nog even de 4x400m teruggekeken en ik zie daar toch vooral dat er op zeker wordt gespeeld. Zeker in de eerste tussen Saalberg en Klaver lijkt het dat ze niet heel snel overnemen. Misschien zie ik het verkeerd.

Great training with a lot of feedbacks of Laurent, giving the athletes the necessary informations to perform even better and better. And hugely interesting to see how they interact with each other in the group, not focusing only on the passages but trying to stay relax and positive.

First of all thanks for a look inside of your world. I would like to add that from my relay experience the runner receiving the stick (baton) should know exactly when to start running so they are closer to their own top speed before receiving it (different distance for every sprinter) . Next move the arm straight back and make a V-shape with their hand so the stick is less likely to bounce back out of it . When passing the stick I found it better to raise your hand in a forward wheel motion that goes with the movement of your body , Extend forward "slapping" it into that V-shape (this gives you more reach so you wont trip the runner in front of you) . This method is very technical but is faster with a higher success rate.

You could not know this, but this isn't somebody's personal channel, this is the Dutch Athletics Union channel. What you see is the Dutch women's 4x100m relay team. While I'm sure your advice will be able to help people reading it, I suspect the Dutch National team knows what they are doing :-).

It is amazing and exciting to see how the Dutch athletes are traing. This training is the most important, and many top athletes make the biggest blunders by handing over. The trainers said very clearly to " NOT TOUCH THE HAND BUT PUSH IT HARD IN THE HAND" so the other athlete can grip it properly. It is a blessing that Dutch Female track athletes are one of the top athletes in the world. Our men are getting there. Could it be that all are inspired by Max Verstappen? Lol! In that case, I will call them " F1 Dutch Female Track Athletes" lange leve de Hollandse Athleten! The Dutchman.
