he was diagnosed with Bell's palsy in 2017, i think he's lost weight since, also he's boxing now so being as heavy as he was probably isn't ideal for the stamina needed for fighting as well as fitting into weight categories

@@JesseJamesWest You do know that he was just being nice to you? Yes, you are fairly athletic. You did good for lifting that one stone, even though you are not a strongman. But you could probably never reach the level of the weakest strongman in WSM. I doubt you could ever qualify to the contest. Very few people in the world can. I am sorry, that I seem rude here. But I am genuinely worried that you will actually try your hand on Strongman. Please don't, for your own health. Know your limits. And one last thing, In this video you pretty much made a fool out of yourself. I kind of got the feel that you did it on purpose, to make people laugh. And I hope it was. If not, then you just insulted one of the greatest strongmen through times, and the sport he clearly loves, with you treating training Strongman like a joke.

Oh yeah, He sees your potential as much as he has achieved in his life, so he will be the one pushing you to grow and is showing he can really pump you up too. Very inspiring to see this training!

But even champions, even Thor, even Olympic athletes, the #1 athletes in human recorded history, I guarantee, have almost all checked their phone during a workout, because it's 2021. Whether to reply to a friend or family member and just sat on the bench for longer than necessary. If not that, while they rested before a set for the standard amount to help their muscles grow without injury while still hitting the intensity needed for weight they will lift/sprint they will run/bag they will hit...and they let their mind wander to what they'll make for dinner, should they pick up eggs before filling up with gas, will Bob from accounting be at your dinner party tonight, and then, oops 4-5 minutes went by! Time to get my head outta my ass! Yep, even champions have to coach themselves. Perhaps they're both the same thing?

As I said in comments this guy is incredibly annoying, lot of talks and inappropriate humor which created embarrassing situations and Thor is annoyed too because he's continuosly talking, screaming, throwing ads and subscription requests and doing stuff which is all but training. Damn

@@cranking90s Who wouldn't hate Jesse's "youtube" personality. It's annoying as fuck, like all youtube personalities. That's what get's the views. What you're seeing on the camera is not who they are in the real world. Thor kept having the look of "how much longer do I need to be here for this shit" throughout parts of the video.

Actually chocolate milk is one of the best recovery drinks you can take. Proteins, carbs, some electrolytes like calcium. All easily and fully absorbed. Wonderful stuff
