Greetings from Queens, NY. Wow, these commuter services are powered by an electrified third rail just like the Long Island Railroad. I love the acceleration.

Yeah, they are pretty good at acceleration! The Third Rail is mainly used down south within the UK whilst places further north use the overhead live wires!
