Trains at: Hull Paragon, 10/06/15

9 жыл бұрынA very enjoyable afternoons visit to Hull Paragon terminus where we see plenty of services from Northern Rail, First Transpennine Express and a couple of services by First Hull Trains. Thanks for watching and i hope you enjoy watching.

Now 8 years ago and the 180's and Pacers are gone so you have captured a piece of history with these videos, well done. Hope you did not get bothered by the security gestapo at Hull Paragon, they state you need permission to do any kind of photography withing the station, hopefully you got off your 180 on that platform and walked to the end, thus avoiding them, that is a long way out for them to walk.

Nice to see you at Hull on a lovely sunny day. Plenty of 158s use the station. Station has been used for filming particularly the film Clockwise with John Cleese in the 1980s. Although Hull Trains only have 7 services per day that is a lot better than the solitary 1 VTEC train. Have travelled on Hull Trains many times and they are definitely comfortable. I live 25 miles away to the north of Hull on the Bridlington line.

For a place of its size Hull's main station is a lot quieter than I was expecting.

I think that 142 Pacer was from Sheffield or Doncaster via Goole.

And dodgy 142s as well. Hate them with a passion. Thankfully they don't go to Bridlington or Scarborough.

How comes the 180s will no longer be at hull trains although it is good that grand central get more of them but I wonder why hull trains are not having 180s anymore.

They are replacing them with Bi-Mode Trains which will end up being more cost effective and better to run

Are you ever going to come back? Also we have half decent PA now, I can actually understand what it says as well as some minor upgrades, like new screens.

Do not film pacers if you don't like pacers

Whilst I may not take a strong liking towards them this is ultimately a train spotting channel. So whilst I may dislike them I will continue to film them so that they are given equal sharing. Plus it means that the respective TOC gets coverage as well which in turn helps them out.
