An hour at London Euston station during the morning rush hour of Thursday 19th August 2021. Having just arrived overnight on the Caledonian Sleeper I decided to stay put on platform 15 and see what was around. Filmed from 7:45am until about 8:30.
At this time of the morning lots of arrivals piling into Euston full of commuters from near & far. Avanti Pendolino's arriving every few minutes from the North West and local London North Western services arriving from the suburbs and West Midlands and local London Overground stopping services from Watford.
Look out for the London North Western class 319's! These form only a handful of services these days between Euston, Tring & Northampton.
Also the Caledonian Sleeper set I arrived on from Inverness, seen departing empty stock out to the depot, lead by GBRF 92028. Light locomotive 92010 then seen following the stock out.
As well as the regular mix of Avanti Pendolino's, look out for colourful 390119 in the Pride Livery. Seen arriving from Manchester Piccadilly, then it left operating the 08:43 service to Edinburgh which I travelled on to its first stop of Milton Keynes. The end of the video is a shot of the Pride pendo leaving Milton Keynes Central.
