Trains at: Manchester Oxford Road, 02/11/15

A very enjoyable afternoon spent at Manchester Oxford Road where we see plenty of services from Northern Rail, First Transpennine Express, Arriva Trains Wales and East Midlands Trains. As well as a freight train from Freightliner.
The station was just as busy if not busier than the last time I came back here, but this time I was able to catch more traction including the Northern Rail class 319 EMU units. This is another station I will be coming back to next year.
My next three stations are all going to be based on the West Coast Mainline, these will be: Tring, Berkhampstead and Hemel Hempstead.

I only watch these videos to relax and they work so thanks very much. Have to say though - your eyesight is insane reading the numbers out from the distance you do.

I think I was in the background on Platform 2 waiting for my train home haha. Can't tell for sure though. Nice video!

I walk past the station everyday while going to Man Met. Normally see a container train from Trafford Park at around 09:30.

That maybe the longest freight train I've ever seen, living in London you see them rather often but never that long

It was actually standard length in all fairness, it may only appear long because of the speed at which it was traveling, I'm guessing you live near to the North London Line? I could be wrong, but that's where a lot of freight tends to be seen

That first train that pulled into MOF - are they new FTPE trains??? I live in blackpool and I don't recall them looking like that

FTPE have had the class 350 for a fair while now, surprised to hear you've not seen one your way yet

Mattbarson23 the FTPE trains are only Manchester airport too Scotland they don't use them anywhere else
