Trains at Shrewsbury. WML. 19/02/2024.

Күн бұрынAbout 2 and a half hours spent here at Shrewsbury on the Welsh Marches Line where we see plenty of services from Transport for Wales, West Midlands Railway and those absolute beauties in the thumbnail.
I'm not going to say anymore about the complete and utter prat that I mentioned during the video. Everything that needs to be said about him was said in the video.
Right, other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at Shrewsbury today. It's a lovely station to film at. The surroundings are stunning as well. The River Severn passes underneath which is an absolutely phenomenal sight. When there's breaks between trains, and there's plenty of them, it's just nice and peaceful. It's not too noisy unlike many other stations where you're constantly listening to sirens. As for the traffic, it's busy enough however I wouldn't recommend coming here at the weekend as it would be significantly quieter. You don't really get much freight through here. It was nice to get the 97/37 combo passing through. All in all, a very charming and enjoyable station to film at and one I'll never tire of returning to. If you've never been before then I do recommend it.

😮 Blue 67008 is quick to get on Spotlog in its TFW livery must've not had a nameplate previously and 82229 yes its in the lifeboats livery

Great video mate. Avanti West Coast do operate on the Euston Shrewsbury runs using the super voyagers but that's on the morning and evening peaks.

Apparently they're stopping that service later this year. Quite a daft thing to do imo because that's no direct service from Shrewsbury to London now. Pretty sure it'll make Shropshire the only county in England without a direct service from London

You can't get down to the platform from the bridge you must go under the station and go through the ticket barriers which would take about an extra 5 mins probably so that's why he probably ran across the tracks but its still not acceptable to do so and people like this should be punished for putting themselves and other people at danger!

Hi clarunt and blue train Spotter I saw a person at Northfield station he jumped on to the track and a cross country voiger and it hit him I saw All of it my Mommy was resting in the car it was not good later on my and mummy saw some flowers 🌹 on the fens by the railway track and It was for the person who was un a live it's not good to see people that go on to the track is sont it clarunt and blue train Spotter this information is from Ritchie

That's awful that is. Fortunately I've never witnessed anything like that but I can only imagine how horrible it is to witness. There seems to be a disgusting amount of them incidents up and down the country recently which just breaks my heart
