A nice but fairly boring session spent at Smethwick Rolfe Street on the West Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from London Midland, Cross County, Arriva Trains Wales and Virgin Trains.
I really didn't like this station, it looks grotty and it's not very well maintained. I know it's only a small suburb station but I would still like to see more care being put into the area to make it look more appealing for passengers that are awaiting their respective trains into and out of the heart of the city. I can safely say I shan't be returning here.
My next station is a 2 parter at Birmingham Moor Street.
