Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action. A couple of hours at Tamworth railway station, the two-level station serving both the West Coast Mainline and the CrossCountry route. Filmed between 1pm and 4:25pm on 10th July. I haven’t been to this station for nearly two years, so I thought I treat myself by popping down there. There was a lot of interesting traffic including several different types of freight as well as the express trains speeding through.
Trains include: Virgin Trains 390 Pendolinos & 221 Voyagers, CrossCountry Voyagers, Turbostars & HST, London North Western 350’s, DB Cargo 60040, 66’s, 90’s & 92011, Freightliner 66’s, GBRF 66769, Colas Rail 67’s & Network Rail ‘New Measurement Train’ HST

This station is like the landscape of the 390s. If you think of TGV station, It looks similar.

Last time I was there with a few of my mates, we was almost kicked off due to the woman at 5:04 being moody because we were using tripods, even when we was at the end of the platform where hardly any trains stop.

Keane Trains To be fair mate, you shouldn't use tripods because they are a safety risk that stop members of staff being able to access the entire platform.

There was an incident years ago with a tripod that ended badly. Since that they have been banned on the station, however before that they were perfectly allowed as I used my tripod hundreds of times there from 2010-2015ish
