This video catalogues the experience of travelling on a Network South-East Day Rover ticket on Saturday 16th April 1988.
The locations of the individual shots change repeatedly as we jumped from one loco-hauled service to the next. I don't remember there being any formal planning before the day, and definitely no poring over timetables - just an agreed starting point and then going where the will took us.
The video includes shots of 10 different Class 50s (the focus for the trip, really) and views out of the coach window where it was possible.
