Amtrak, electric passenger trains, Tropicana, Santa Trains, last circus trains of Ringling Brothers And Barnum & Bailey Circus ( red and blue circus trains ), short line and branch line railroads, cabooses on trains, street running trains, Indiana & Ohio Railway, Genesee & Wyoming, CSX, NS, Cincinnati East Terminal Railway, BNSF, Hesston steam trains, Sperry Rail Grinder, Detroit trams ( light rail trolleys ) Sorta and more. American trains of the Midwest United States! Compilation video of all kinds of trains that I filmed. Most of this is footage never used that I didn't want to waste so I made 2 videos and this is the first one of Midwest trains. The farthest north that I filmed at was Toledo, Ohio. If you want info about any specific train, just ask. The RJ Corman Dinner Train in this video is no longer in service, Rail America was bought by G&W and NS no longer operates the Peavine Line in Ohio. The train scene @ 3:15 really brought back a great memory. Nothing is comparable to that. Traveling through the country on a brisk Autumn day over a bridge; so peaceful and quiet that the only sound you can identify is that of the horn echoing off the tree filled hills. ☺

I always love railroads running almost parallel with the Interstate Highways. One such line is a section the former NKP (now NS) line that runs next to I-75 from Findlay and southbound through Bluffton, Beaverdam and into Lima where the former Nickel Plate (now RJ Corman property ) heads west through St. Marys and Celina and terminates near the Indiana state line. The Nickel Plate..later N&W once ran from Portland through Muncie and to Frankfort, IN where the old roundhouse once stood...Thumbs UP Mr. Jaw Tooth!

I enjoyed this train parade! The first train wasn't playing! It meant business, Really Moving on boy! I saw that you got to go on a caboose ride! I'm so jealous! I really liked the blue & yellow loco with the Barbie doll pink color on the front. Reminds me of breast cancer awareness month. The circus train was outstanding! I saw the lovely red & black engines, ANOTHER color scheme I like. Also, Those railroad tracks @ 52:35 are something out of the ordinary. I have never seen anything like it! I was amused by it. The cute little mini train @ 42:06 puts me in mind of the little Zilker train we have here in Austin TX. It runs through Zilker park, Like a short run & loops back around. All this is outstanding!

Jaw tooth, those Tropicana box cars with their auto-coolers are just so fine really cool! I`ve ordered 6 O-gauge box cars sets like the ones you shot for my layout. what an awesome video you have put together, I love it!

I love trains...We rode one from Philadelphia to Chicago and another from Philadelphia to Orlando....You had a nice variety of trains...And some of those trains were long...Thanks for sharing....Thumbs up :-)

One of your best videos. Thank you. I really enjoyed watching it. Thank you for including the 464 steam engine at Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad. I worked in the village print shop for 8 years and watched the train go through town 5 times a day. Never got tired of watching it.

Railfanning with you JT is one truly interesting experience, watched on sunday afternoon some three years after filming, in 2021. Lovely scenery, I think you were a bit too close & personal with that train in La Grange after visiting that Drinking Establishment. Also liked "But wait theres more", hope that was railfanning & not necessarily drinking. I course I know your completely in your element. Safe railfanning. 😄🤠👍👌😸😎

This video was awesome as you do all the time, and a special thanks to you for showing the entire circus train, ( were you feeling that lol)? It is like a funeral to this old schooler. I look at my young grands and cry inside because they will never experience the excitement of the circus coming to town.

I know what you mean. We took our kids and grand kids to see the circus every year for the last 5 years of it . I really miss it. I have a few more videos of the circus trains that I haven't posted yet. I have posted several of it so far including one where the train is going through a tunnel

Who was that caped crusader at the end? You wouldn't happen to be related to Snagle Tooth? If I can't get out to get my train fix, the next best thing is a Jaw Tooth Vid. What is it about choo choo's? Long ago we had 5 railroads, 4 of which terminated in my home town of Keokuk, IA. The Wabash, TP&W, Rock Island, CB&Q and the K&W which became part of the CB&Q. Those were the days!

I've never seen anything like that before @ 43:00 🤔? Have you been to the historical train depot in Niles Michigan? When I took Amtrak from Durand Michigan (another historical train depot) to the Union Station in Chicago we stopped there. Now I'm going back to the year of 1981! Three movies used the Niles depot as a location to film a scene at. Midnight Run 1988 (Robert De Niro), Continental Divide 1981 (John Belushi), and Only The Lonely 1991 (John Candy).

I had problems downloading this because of the length, I think. I had my son figure it out and it was difficult. This is part of a video that I made into 2 videos. The other part I will post soon. I still want to film there but probably after the first of the year. I'm going to New York with Millenniumforce after Christmas as long as the weather cooperates. Jaw tooth: I want to go railfan NS. I need advice. Does anyone know of a good NS railfanning spot within 3 hours of Boston, MA? I know you go railfanning a ton so I was wondering and I figure your one of the best to go to. Thanks! Andrew
