2 жыл бұрынHere we have is trains over the Hell Gate Bridge & Bronx Kill Bridge, with Amtrak's Northeast Regional, Acela Express and a Vermonter. A Providence and Worcester Railroad FPCH (Fresh Pond - Cedar Hill) Freight Train is seen. The bridge we start is the Bronx Kill Bridge between Port Morris, The Bronx & Randall's Island, Manhattan, followed by the Hell Gate Bridge between Ward's Island, Manhattan and Astoria, Queens, NY.
Note: Background noise is due to the Interstate 278 behind me.
Video was taken: Aug 13, 2021 between about 4PM and 8PM.

Well, let’s not jump to conclusions... MTA still has a lot of things to work out with Amtrak before that ever happens

@@youminholastransit3218 Not really on Amtrak’s expansion plan map it only showed it’s services running along the main line up to Ronkonkama.

@@skyforce2132 But the electricity volts on the wires have to be matchable for both the Metro North and Amtrak trains along that corridor so it is going to take a little bit of testing but not too much, other than finding the proper time beings to build the new platforms for Bronx stations along the corridor.
